Dr. Dey is an accomplished Materials Scientist with significant research experience on Nano-engineered ceramics, fuel cell materials, Metallic Multilayers, catalysts, carbon nanotube, and polymer matrix composites. Her research interests cover synthesis of nano-materials and study structure-property relationship of nano-materials. Dr. Dey had investigated thermodynamic properties and stability of the nano-ceramics under irradiation while she was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at UC Davis. As a PhD student and Post-doctoral research associate at UC Davis, Dr. Dey studied structure-property relationship of different nano-materials using High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Dr. Dey has extensively published in international peer-reviewed journals and taught several university-level courses.
