Students may start the PMPB Program in the summer, fall, or spring terms. The summer session features MCAT review only. The fall and spring semesters cover academic coursework in such areas as core sciences, social sciences, standardized patients, professional communication, service learning, and a healthcare seminar.
Enrollment and tuition are for one-year.
Spring Start (January)
To start in the spring term, followed by summer and fall terms, apply by November 1st. These students will be eligible for medical school consideration after the completion of the spring term, summer term (if desired) and the fall term for the following fall. This option offers the most flexibility for students to prepare for the MCAT, excel in the coursework, and to be considered by the College of Medicine.
Summer Start (June)
To start in the summer term (with MCAT review), followed by fall and spring terms, apply by April 1st. These students will be eligible for medical school consideration after the completion of the spring term with the goal to start medical school in the following fall.
Students who opt out of the summer MCAT review will pay the same tuition as those who enroll for all three terms.
Fall Start (August)
To start in the fall term, followed by spring and summer terms, apply by June 15th. These students will be eligible for medical school consideration after the completion of the spring (or summer) term for the following fall.
