Transferability of Credits
The Pre-Medicine Post-Baccalaureate (PMPB) is a non-degree, non-diploma course of study intended to improve the qualifications and opportunity for entry into a medical doctorate degree program, pharmacy program, or other healthcare related programs. It does not guarantee entry into a medical degree program. Nor will the credits earned in the PMPB course of study transfer into a medical degree program. The transferability of credits earned at CNU is at the complete discretion of the institution to which students seek to transfer. If the credits earned at this institution are not accepted at the institution to which the student seeks to transfer, they may be required to repeat some or all of the coursework at that institution. For this reason, students should make certain that their attendance at this institution will meet their educational goals. This may include contacting an institution to which the student seeks to transfer after attending CNU to determine if the credits will transfer.
The PMPB is not intended to meet the requirements for licensure in any profession. Licensure requirements are established by the state where licensure is sought. Such requirements usually include, but are not necessarily limited to, successfully completing an educational program resulting in a doctorate or other professional degree, successfully passing the licensure examination, and meeting certain technical standards. Students are encouraged to review the licensure requirements of the state(s) in which they plan to practice.
