While earning the Bachelor of Science degree, students can customize their curriculum plan to satisfy the prerequisite course requirements for most professional health programs including medicine, pharmacy, clinical psychology, and dentistry. The Bachelor of Science degree at CHS is planned as a four year degree. In order to graduate students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA and complete all credits toward the degree with a “C” grade or better. Students will earn a minimum of 120 total credit hours with a minimum of 39 credits in general education and 36 credits in upper division coursework. The CHS curriculum is derived from sets of learning outcomes and mapped courses contain the necessary content and instruction to provide students the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of these learning outcomes.
