About
Deedee received her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification in spring 2026, after an 8-year experience working as a Masters-prepared Registered Nurse. She has worked in skilled nursing, a large school district, as a Senior Communicable Disease Public Health Nurse, and as an Infection Control nurse. She has had quite a unique nursing career! Outside of work, she holds a first-degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won, is an Air Force Veteran, and most importantly of all - a loving mother to her son. She is passionate about guiding students to connect to their true purpose, become their best selves, and learn how to give non-judgmental compassionate care while also prioritizing care for themselves.
